We are convinced that giving financially not only practically helps the vision of the church come to fruition, it’s also good for our spiritual health and is part of our worship.
Jesus said, “We cannot serve both God and money.” One or the other will have your heart, and will have control over your life. Money is not evil, but it is possible for us to become a slave to it. On the other hand, when we put money in its place - and make money the servant - it can do extraordinary things.
It can serve the Kingdom of God. We initially came into existence because of the extraordinary generosity from both KXC and the Deanery.
We want to continue to reflect this generosity that we have been shown both by God and by those that financially support St Gregory’s.
Therefore, we are committed to giving 10% of all of the donations that we receive to projects that we want to encourage and support.
The Collective is a group formed in order to oversee the distribution of this giving and make a recommendation for each year’s giving to be approved by the Trustees.
