On Scatter Sunday, instead of gathering all together as a community, we get involved with different events dispersed across our area. There is something for everyone and it's a fantastic opportunity to invite friends and family to come along too.
Jesus sends out 72 of his closest followers, scattering workers into the field to go and seek a plentiful harvest. We want to continue to follow in this line and scatter out into the field that Jesus has prepared.
For 26th July we're connecting Scatter Sunday with our communal rhythm of hospitality.
Hospitality is one of the ways we embody the welcome of God, creating spaces where people can belong, connect and experience his love. We're inviting people across our deanery to open their homes, gardens, favourite local spots, and lives to others through simple gatherings.
Whether it's coffee and cake, a beach picnic, a BBQ, board games evening, or something uniquely you, we'd love to see lots of opportunities for people to gather and experience God's love together.
If you'd be willing to host fill out the form below. We'll then set your event up for people to sign up to and for you to invite friends and neighbours along!
If you have any questions please get in touch with Maysie Denley or Nick Johnson.
