The Neighbourhood Care Fund exists so that anyone in our community can participate in meeting the needs of those experiencing financial hardship.

The fund offers financial assistance for crisis or emergency needs relating to shelter, fuel, food, mental health or physical health, or fleeing domestic/external abuse.

The generosity of the church is modelled in Acts 4:32 – 37:

“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them.”

We therefore believe in a communal response to the practical and financial needs within our community. The fund offers financial assistance towards emergency needs of those connected to our community in some way and is able to accept applications from outside of the church community.
